An Earthy Equestrian-Inspired Bedroom

As someone who grew up riding horses, I have a warm place in my heart for all things equestrian. I find the earthy colors of the bedroom below so calming, with just enough refinement in the studded pillow, leather chair, and sleek artwork.  Read on for details on each piece!

A Refined Coastal Living Room

Happy New Year! My family spent the weekend in gorgeous Santa Barbara and I stopped in an inspiring interior furnishings store called Rooms&Gardens. It was a perfect mix of traditional furnishings, boho textiles, and beachy accents. Their artwork selection consisted of shadowboxes displaying shells, vintage sailboat flags, maps, and impressionist seascapes. They also carry John Robshaw fabrics and had a nice selection of antique (inspired?) table decor.

Below please find my take on a coastal chic living room! Cream colored upholstery is offset by darker woods and a fun mix of blue and white accents.

Coral & Navy Living Room

I love the combination of linen, weathered oak, navy and a pop of coral. Here are some finds that I am loving lately that create a beautiful, warm living room.

Fall Shopping At Homegoods

I am absolutely obsessed with Home Goods (TJMAXX’s home store). While expensive home stores like Plantation, Restoration Hardware and Williams Sonoma are often my inspiration for home decor, I love the hunt for things that are replicas or the discounted version of the real thing. Especially since trends are constantly changing. Here are some recent finds at my local Home Goods!

Marble pastry boards are so handy for rolling dough and displaying your food beautifully…

Marble and Copper is a really beautiful combination, especially on your kitchen counter…

Laguiole steak knives and place settings! So pretty…

Vintage fans! So pretty, and I’ve never seen these at HomeGoods before…

Copper pans are usually quite expensive. I saw a ton!…

I doubt this Restoration Hardware style setee will last long at $699…

And faux shagreen trays. Such a pretty texture…

Other finds included this pretty fall runner and kitchen towels..

…this Native American print pillow and (ridiculously) soft faux fur throw…

…watercolor dog prints…

…baskets galore and a white and grey rug that is really in style right now…

…my favorite brand of Italian picture frames plus some really cool rustic style ones!
