I love this romantic editorial shot by the legendary Tim Walker. Keys and tassels have always represented romance and mystery to me as well. Below is a living room inspired by the above two photos, with accents in deep green and burgundy. (Check out the amazing marble and tassel lamp!) All items from One Kings Lane.
I love the greys, oranges and blues in the two photos above. Below I put together a bathroom inspired by the pop of orange and natural, minimalist tones. (Complete with concrete sink, and wooden bead chandelier!)
I love the pairing of this gorgeous canal view in Venice and the pink impressionist roses. Here is a living room inspired by the above!
Our favorite colors and objects can really inspire the design of a room. I have a Tumblr account, http://curseofgoodtaste.tumblr.com/, where I collect tons of images that inspire me. I subconsciously seem to pair images that share the same color and feel. I thought I would pull some furniture and decor items based off a few of these pairs! Today, its a bedroom inspired by mosaic tile and a collection of art books in muted greens, greys and salmon pink.
